We have not had a good internet connection since we took off from Giardini Naxos so here's a quick recap of where we've been recently.
From Giardini Naxos, we took a train to Naples where we stopped for the night. Then it was on to Bari where we hopped a ferry to Patras, then another train to Kiato, and one final train into Athens where we spent three nights at the Hotel Intercontinental courtesy of a lucky Priceline bid.
After Athens we headed into the Western Balkans. We stayed two nights in Skopje, Macedonia, one night in Beograd, Serbia, and two nights in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzgovinia.
Now we're heading to Dubrovnik, Croatia where we'll spend four nights in the old city before hopping a ferry to Split, Croatia, for a couple of days where we hope to catch the Croatia v Sweeden Rugby World Cup qualifying game.
After Croatia, we're heading north towards Zagreb, and Ljubljana, Slovenia, before turning west towards Switzerland and Germany. More pictures to come once we find a decent upload connection.

The Acropolis in Athens looks great. It still has the same scaffolding up when I first saw it back in 1985!!
